Grand Casinos Honor Veterans with Free Meal

ONAMIA, Minn., and HINCKLEY, Minn. – On Saturday, November 11, Grand Casino Mille Lacs and Grand Casino Hinckley are proud to show their appreciation for veterans and active military by offering them a free meal. Plus, the first 150 Veterans to visit Grand Rewards will receive a special flag kit.

Since starting this program ten years ago, Grand Casino Mille Lacs and Grand Casino Hinckley have served nearly 45,000 free meals to veterans and active military.

At Grand Casino Mille Lacs:

1991 Kitchen will serve a special menu for veterans and active military from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. The ever-favorite Country Breakfast, shrimp dinner and 1/3 rack of ribs special are just some of the menu items being served.

As a special bonus, Grand Casino Mille Lacs will also be offering veterans $10 off an entrée at 1991 Kitchen during regular business hours November 12 – 19, 2017. To receive this additional special, Guests will need to visit Grand Rewards before their meal.

At Grand Casino Hinckley:

Stories Diner will serve a special menu for veterans and active military from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Popular dishes like Country Fried Steak and Pork Prime Rib are some of the menu items being served.

Grand Provisions is serving up a free Grand Traditions Buffet from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.; then from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m., a Prime Rib dinner Buffet will be served.

Guests wishing to receive a free meal on November 11 at either property must bring in proof of military service (military ID card, veterans ID card, veterans designation of driver’s license or state veterans ID card, veterans organization membership card, DD214, DD256, discharge papers, citation or commendation) to any Grand Rewards counter. The first 150 veterans or active military that check-in will receive a special flag kit.
