Line 3 Hearings This Week in East Lake, Hinckley

Published

The State of Minnesota is conducting a series of public hearings related to the proposed Line 3 Pipeline Replacement Project. Hearings will be held at the East Lake Community Center on October 11, 2017, and at the Grand Casino Hinckley on October 12, 2017.

The public hearings are intended to gather information for the Public Utilities Commission to review when it considers whether to grant the approvals necessary for Enbridge to construct the Line 3 Replacement Project. Individuals will have the opportunity to provide comments and question Enbridge’s witnesses. Individuals also can provide written comments regarding the need for the project or the proposed route and alternative routes. This is an important opportunity for our members to have their voices heard regarding this project. We encourage you to attend one of the public hearings and share your knowledge and concerns—especially related to how the project would affect our cultural and natural resources.

Details regarding the hearings are below. The hearings will close once there are no more individuals signed-up to provide comments. This means the hearings may end before the scheduled time.
